Fillie privacy policy

- Your budget stays on your phone. Fillie has no account, no login and no server that stores your budget.
- Fillie never connects to your bank and never reads your SMS, contacts or location.
- We don't sell data, and Fillie has no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising tools.
- Fillie only uses the internet for Fillie Plus purchases, and only when you open Plus or already have it.
1. Who we are
Fillie is a cash envelope budgeting app for Android, published on Google Play by Techyza Solutions (techyza.com). Questions about this policy: support@techyza.com.
2. Data that stays on your phone
Everything you put into Fillie stays in the app's private storage on your phone: envelopes, amounts, payday plans, spends, income, payee names, notes, sinking funds, savings challenges and settings. Android keeps this storage encrypted and other apps can't read it. We (Techyza Solutions) never receive it.
3. Backups
- Snapshots on your phone. Fillie saves a daily copy of your budget inside its own storage so you can roll back.
- Android backup. If backup is turned on in your phone's settings, Android copies Fillie's data to your Google account so it can come back on a new phone. Google runs this service under its own terms. We can't see these backups. You can turn this off in Android settings.
- Files you export. When you export a backup or a CSV file, you choose where it goes (for example your Downloads folder, Google Drive or an email). You can protect a backup file with a passphrase. It is then encrypted (AES-256-GCM), and nobody, including us, can open it or recover a lost passphrase.
4. Fillie Plus purchases
Fillie Plus is sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never see your card details. To unlock Plus and keep it working, Fillie uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives:

Fillie contacts RevenueCat only when you open the Plus screen, buy, tap Restore purchase, or already have Plus (to check that a subscription is still active). Your budget is never sent. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
5. What Fillie never does
- Sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- Use the advertising ID (Fillie removes that permission).
- Connect to your bank, or read your SMS, contacts, photos or location.
- Include analytics or crash-reporting tools. If we ever add them, they will be off until you turn them on, and this policy will be updated first.
Fillie has no ads today. If ads are ever added, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and Fillie Plus will remove them.
6. Permissions

7. Your choices and rights
- See and take your data: Settings → Backup & restore lets you export everything as a backup file or a CSV spreadsheet, for free.
- Delete your data: Settings → Delete all data removes your budget from the phone. Uninstalling Fillie removes it too. Deleted entries are kept in Recently deleted for 30 days so you can undo, then removed for good.
- Purchase records: to ask for a copy or deletion of the purchase records RevenueCat holds for your app user ID, email us. Some records must be kept for tax and refund rules.
These choices apply wherever you live, including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California privacy law.
8. Children
Fillie is not made for children under 13 (under 16 in the European Economic Area), and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
9. Where data is processed
Your budget stays on your phone. RevenueCat processes purchase data in the United States. Google processes payments and Android backups under its own policies.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and tell you inside the app before the change applies to you.
